Our Track Record & Awards

Our service track record includes customising transportation needs for petrochemical and hydrocarbon companies to high-security areas such as facilities Jurong Island.

awards6In 2007, Poh Lee was appointed the official transport provider by a major oil and gas contractor, working on one of the prestigious mega projects on Jurong Island.

What began as a single route transporting personnel from Jurong East MRT to site offices on Jurong Island has transformed into a service that transports the needs of more than 30,000 passengers per month in and around the island and within the facility.

At the peak, there are a total of 24 routes and 32 buses in daily operation by Poh Lee at this site on Jurong Island. A great deal of planning and management has gone into the ever changing transportation requirement around the site, whilst sustaining the efficiency and reliability of the service.

Poh Lee has again been recognised for achieving another landmark SPT Site Services Safety Recognition Awards for “3,000,000 kilometre Safe Travelled ” and “20,000,000 Safe Work Hours Without Accident Loss Time” performance . We attribute our success to the effective work practice and safety culture of our dedicated bus captains, who have to undergo stringent safety training that includes a defensive driving course.
